What does "The campaign is not allowing texting at this time" mean?
Updated over a week ago

After they click into a Peer-to-Peer Texting action on either web or mobile, your users might encounter an error that says "The campaign is not allowing texting at this time." This error can also appear when managing replies in the inbox (for either Peer-to-Peer or Broadcast Texting), even if initial messages have already been sent.

This error means that it is currently outside of your campaign's texting hours. Texting hours prevent both initial and response messages from being sent outside of those hours in the designated time zone. The good news is that you can very quickly update your texting hours and get back to texting!

Simply visit Campaign Settings > Peer-to-Peer Texting tab OR Broadcast Texting tab (depending on which type of texting you're currently doing) > scroll to Texting Hours. You can edit these hours as desired, then click Save Settings at the bottom of the page.

Now, when users re-enter their inbox, the error will no longer show up and they'll be able to text. (If the error is still showing up, try refreshing the web browser or exiting and re-opening the app.)
