If your CSV file or TXT file contact list is not importing (you're getting an error when clicking Start Import, the list is stuck "Processing" for a very long time, or the contact list doesn't appear in the Contacts > Lists list afterwards), try each of these:
Make sure the file has required column headers. Three columns - 'first_name', 'last_name', and 'phone' - are required for CSV/TXT import, and must be given in exactly that format.
Make sure there aren't any special characters in the file. Special characters in contact names - like @ signs or other strange formatting that can sometimes happen when exporting a contact list from another tool - prevent a CSV or TXT file from being imported.
Make sure phone numbers are formatted acceptably. The optimal import format for phone numbers is just the numbers, with no parentheses or hyphens - ex '1111111111'. Certain types of unusual phone number formatting can prevent a CSV or TXT file from being imported.
