Users & Lists

ARCHIVED

Introduction

The user lists feature offers functionality that allows Impactive admins to do the following:

  • View high-level metrics on volunteer performance
  • Segment volunteers using a filter tool
  • Engage segments of volunteers with actions, messages, or other lists

How it works

Metrics

At the top of the user lists page, you can see a high-level breakdown of volunteer performance. These metrics tell you how volunteers have fared on the volunteer app.

For example, users synced can tell you if the volunteer has synced any contacts, which is helpful for the purposes of understanding if this volunteer can help you with Friend-to-Friend actions.

Here are some other quick definitions for these metrics:

  • Friends Known: This represents the total number of personal contacts synced on Impactive by users who have joined your campaign and are on the list shown.
  • Friends Matched: This represents the total number of personal contacts that are matched to the national voter file on Impactive and are contacts of users on the list shown.
  • In District: This represents the total number of personal contacts that are matched to the voter file and registered in the district setting for your campaign.
  • Messaged: This represents the total number of personal contacts that have been messaged by volunteers on your campaign.
  • Recruited: This represents the total number of users that have been recruited by other users on your campaign and are on the list shown.
  • Reports Filled:  This represents the total number of reports that have been filled out by users on the list shown.

Filters

Filters are helpful for the purposes of segmenting users into particular groups. For example, if you need to find a list of all volunteers who have not synced their contacts, you can toggle "not synced contacts" and apply filters. This will return filtered results of all volunteers who have not synced their phones to Impactive.

Use our robust filter criteria to start segmenting your contacts!

  • Not Invited Friends: Turn on to filter your users who have not sent out any invites to their personal contacts to join Impactive.

Friend Filters

Friend filters are meant for filtering your users based on who they know in their personal contacts.

  • State: Filter your users based on who they know in a specific state.
  • Congressional District: Filter your users based on who they know in a specific congressional district.
  • State Senate: Filter your users based on who they know in a specific state senate district.
  • State House: Filter your users based on who they know in a specific state house district.
  • City: Filter your users based on who they know in a specific city.
  • Zip Code: Filter your users based on who they know in a specific zip code.
  • Not Yet Messaged: Filter your users based on whether or not they have contacts that have not been messaged yet and meet the criteria of the other filters applied.

Engagement

Admins can use the user list buttons to help engage their volunteers. Simply toggle a single user or segment of filtered users and click on a button to engage them. For example, you could decide to send all "not synced" volunteers a message. Create the filter for not synced folks, and then in button toolbar, use the "Send a message" button. A modal will pop-up which will allow you to write a message and send it to these users in the message section in the inbox.
